Colchester YMCA is a Christian charity whose principal activity is to provide safe and affordable accommodation for both men and women between the ages of 16 and 25, regardless of religion or disability. We also offer day to day help and guidance in personal matters and career aspirations, and this includes employment search and training. In addition, we also provide personal and social development through tried and tested youth work activity. These include our street based youth work and Young Deaf Club projects. Colchester YMCA is an autonomous charity, registered charity number 1060583, affiliated to YMCA England and is part of the Worldwide YMCA movement. The charity is a company limited by guarantee registered in Cardiff, number 3267205.
